I cant get Air Raid to function. I believe I may have my layout and changed the criteria too much. I notice that Erin didnt have any differences from the Air Raid game. I made mine too different so I cant really copy stuff the code very correctly.

This week in school and with games
This week in school we are using AS scripts to create interactivity. I would like to post the tutorials that I used so that I can review these post later and grab any important info.
To create a button that will have an object appear on the stage.

This one was great but I couldnt get it going. It was for a movie with buttons that will navigate
the graphic spaceship in all directions depending on the button pushed.

Another one that I like alot it just the hit action.

On steam they released a version of GTA III that is for the mac. Since I have already purchased the GTA's for PC it was a sweet download for the mac. Last night I played. It was funny because I needed to use the enter key to get in the car. I had been using the arrow keys and then eventually got the mouse for the play. It was fun.
In xbox 360 I got Rob to play and we have been having battles. He doesnt hate some of the songs and he likes that its a workout when you play. One night when he got home from work he asked me to play so that I could get an achievement that I was telling him about. I cant wait for PAX 2012. Its getting closer and closer.

ActionScripting Animation example
This week is the 3rd week of class. I have enjoyed this course more than some of the others based on my teacher being a decent man who lives in the real world and the 11 weeks of school. What is great is
that I have 2 assignments a week. This means I can research the assignments and actually turn in
some more quality projects. This week I will be programming a game. It is based on Air Raid.
My version is called Acorn Drop.
This week has an animation and ActionScript tutorial.

Below is a version of my prototype for this week.
